Dubai, but fans of the stage may be pleasantly surprised by the
shows on offer in the emirate.
The Madinat Theatre, which opened in 2004 and is Dubai's first purpose-built theatre, is located in the Souk Madinat Jumeirah and has hosted productions ranging from dramas to musicals.
Among the upcoming productions at the Madinat is Swan Lake, which tells the famous story of an evil sorcerer turning a princess into a swan using a curse.
