Music fans who have embarked on cheap flights to Melbourne this week may be keen to attend a free city-centre event aimed at welcoming international students to the city.
The Lord Mayor's Semester Two Student Welcome, set to take place on Saturday (July 30th), will involve a Lady Gaga-themed fashion show, African drumming demonstrations and bush dancing.
Clothes from local designers Worn Wild, GeoMythink, Fashion Ninja and more will be showcased at the free celebration, which will be held at City Square.
