Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Asia has confirmed that it will manage and open the Outrigger Koh Samui Resort and Spa in Bhoput Beach, Koh Samui from February 1st. The five-star resort will offer a total of 81 villas, with guests having access to private pools, a beach restaurant, fitness centre and a wellness spa."We are excited to add Outrigger Koh Samui Resort and Spa to our growing collection of luxury properties throughout Asia," said Darren Edmonstone, Outrigger's senior vice-president of Asia Pacific.

Outrigger has been managing beach resorts for over 50 years on the island of Koh Samui and has enjoyed success as more people take flights to Thailand to enjoy the region's favourable climate and attractions.
